Some days back we saw the advancement of Google in the field of Cloud storage with its Google Drive service. It was only available to a few people at that time but now it has been launched for all the users around the world. Google Drive offers free storage upto 5 GB but you can add extra storage by paying some bucks. All you need is a Google account for using this cloud storage service.

SO do you want to enjoy yet another service of Google ?? Of course, you want to. To use Google Drive all you need is a Google account, which I think all of us have. So there won’t be any problem.
To setup Google Drive, Go to its homepage. You will be seeing something like the screenshot below. There you need to install Google Drive on your PC.
Once you have installed it on your PC, then uploading your files is like a piece of cake. A folder named “Google Drive” will be created on your hard-disk and to upload your files you just have to drag and drop your files in the Google Drive folder. That’s it. Your file is saved on Google servers.
You can also see the recent items uploaded by you separately as well as share it with your friends. The files that your friends share with you are stores under the tab “Shared with me”. You can even bookmark some of the important files or some most used files by just highlighting the star. You can access all this starred files under the “Starred” tab. Other features you can explore on your own as it has a very easy-to-use interface.
The free account gives you a storage of 5 GB but you can upgrade it anytime you want. You can buy additional space from its homepage itself and that too is very easy. You wan’t get confused at all.
Don’t forget to give your opinion regarding Google’s latest venture in the cloud storage field. Do share your views with us and share the post with your friends so that they also come to know about it.
